Simon Hitchens – making concrete

On a wet concrete floor there is a black bucket with wire mesh over the top. A person in work gear is bent over the bucket, holding the rim. There are two piles of black stone - one pile has larger pieces of rock and one has finer, small pieces. On the ground around this there are tools, wooden objects, and a hose pipe.

Silurian rock sourced from Grizedale being processed to make the display table.
